October 22, 2010 - There was a HUGE maple tree in the front yard that has been there forever... of course when the house was built it was close to the house but it just wasn't very big so they left it there. Well it has grown a lot over the last 20 years and it drops dead branches on the roof every now and then. We were afraid that it would start dropping larger branches, or worse, and it is so close to the house, so we brought back the tree crew we worked with before and they very carefully took the tree down. It was amazing to watch. First of all, this crazy guy climbed up the tree with a chainsaw and cut the branches off, one by one, and they were tied with a rope so they would let them down slowly so they wouldn't fall on the house. Then, I was also amazed that the HUGE tree all fit into the one truck they had. The first picture is the "before" picture, taken a few months ago... and the rest is the process of taking down the tree and what it looked like afterwards.
