Marty had to work the weekend but I took the girls up to my parent's house in the mountains. The local farm (aptly called Mountain Farm) was having a special baby goat day where they let people in the pens to play with the new baby goats. This year was particularly special because one of the goats had sextuplets (a rarity). Lexi was a little wary of the goats and very much enjoyed them from outside the pen but didn't care to be so close to them inside the pen. Samantha did go inside the pen (a couple times) and rubbed the babies and fed one with a bottle. We also got to see them milk a goat up close (and could have participated but Samantha lost her nerve when it came right down to it - maybe next year). Of course they also enjoyed seeing the adult goats (and feeding them dandelions), and the sheep, and the chickens, and the rabbits, and of course the resident dogs too.
