Sweet and sour... The first picture is Samantha's very first pot holder that she made with her weaving loom that we gave her for Christmas. She did all of it herself with only the slightest help at the beginning of the weaving part, and I finished off the edges. She gave it to me and said that she made it for me and wants me to use it. That's sweet but it's hanging in my kitchen as a decoration. THEN later on in the day I discovered a lock of hair on the floor in the playroom. After further investigation I found out that Samantha had taken the scissors that Santa brought her for Christmas and cut her hair because it was getting in her face! So these pictures show (as best I can) where she cut her hair in the front. On the right side of her face (her right) it comes down to about the middle of her ear. On the left side (her left) it only comes down to about her eye (this is easier to see). Her scissors are confiscated until further notice.
