Oh boy. Sami has been begging me to let her cook supper. So tonight I taught her how to bake potatoes and she fixed our entire supper of loaded baked potatoes all by herself from start to finish. All I did was sit on the counter and watch. She got out the bag of potatoes, picked out 6, washed them all, poked holes in them with a fork, put them in the microwave on a paper towel, cooked them (turning them every 3 minutes. She cleaned and set the table and got our drinks (she made herself and Lexi some chocolate milk). She took everyone's order on how they wanted their potato fixed and then took out the potatoes, cut them (yep that's a sharp knife) and loaded them up accordingly. She put everything on the table, cleaned everything up, and called everyone (whistled) for supper. She was extremely proud of herself. The potatoes tasted fantastic.
